Greens/EFA 'Bureau': Greens/EFA Group elect Harms and Cohn-Bendit as Co-Presidents
The Greens/EFA Group today elected its co-presidents and vice-presidents. Daniel Cohn-Bendit and Rebecca Harms were elected as Co-Presidents.
The new 'Bureau' of the Group is as follows:
Co-Presidents:
Daniel Cohn-Bendit (France), Co-President, Member of the European Parliament since 1994, Co-President of the Greens/EFA Group since 2002.
Rebecca Harms (Germany), Co-President, Member of the European Parliament and Vice-President of the Greens/EFA Group since 2002.
Vice-Presidents:
Jill Evans (Wales), President of the European Free Alliance, Member of the European Parliament since 1999.
Reinhard Bütikofer (Germany), treasurer, newly elected MEP.
Marije Cornelissen (Netherlands), newly elected MEP.
Eva Lichtenberger (Austria), MEP since 2004.
Raül Romeva (Spain), MEP since 2004.
Claude Turmes (Luxembourg), MEP since 1999.
Emilie Turunen (Denmark), newly elected MEP.
