Greens/Efa Group

Do you want to peek over the shoulder of your Green MEP? You are welcome to do so, as transparency is indispensable for a democracy. Therefore all our conferences, hearings, seminars and group meetings are open to the public and we look forward to your visit - be it in Brussels or Strasburg.

Groups

If you wish to come as a group during a week of parliamentary session and receive travel allowances by the Parliament, you need an invitation by one of our members. To speed things up, have a look at the parliamentary calender first and choose a date for your visit. Then contact the Member of your choice, preferably one from your country or region. His or her office will be happy to organize a programme for you. But do not wait too long! As the number of requests is very high, please start planning in due time - at best a few months ahead.

During weeks without session only the visitors' service of the Parliament can send out invitations. More on this and more details concerning conditions for travel allowances, deadlines or group sizes can be found on the pages of the European Parliament.

Single visitors

You are on your own and would like to glimpse spontaneously behind the glittering facade of the Parliament? No problem, either. During weeks of parliamentary session single visitors can just go to the visitors' entrance in Strasburg or Brussels. The only entry requirement is a photo ID (e.g. passport or driving licence). Everyone gets in as long as there is space on the gallery. During weeks without session you have the opportunity to have a look at the plenary hall from the gallery and listen to a 30-minute commentary.

Do you still have questions concerning opening hours, deadlines or procedures? Then please contact one of our Members of Parliament or the
