Safe and Secure Energy in Europe: A Greens/EFA seminar in Finland

The Greens/EFA in the European Parliament held a public seminar in Helsinki on 20 and 21 September 2006 to discuss the visions for a safe and secure future in Europe. The two-day seminar dealt with two core topics: 'Finland and the future of Europe' and 'Safe and Secure Energy for Europe'. Twelve Green MEPs, Finnish parliamentarians, representatives of the Finnish Greens (Virrhëa Liitto) and a panel of international experts took part in the seminar that was hosted in the Finnish Parliament in Helsinki.

14:00 Organic lunch picnic, hosted by Heidi Hautala, MP, Chair of Green parliamentary group and Janne Länsipuro, Vice Chair of the Finnish Greens
